How to reset MFA in Azure AD
To reset MFA in Azure, follow the steps below.
1. Log in to the Azure Portal.
2. Search for Microsoft Entra ID and click on the search result Microsoft Entra ID as shown below.

3. Expand the manage tab and click the Users option from the left navigation.

4. Click on the specific user from the list for the one you wish to reset the MFA.

5. On the specific user page, expand the Manage tab and click on the Authentication methods link from the left navigation, as shown in the screenshot below.

6. Click on the Revoke multifactor authentication sessions option as shown below.


7. Finally, click the Require re-register multifactor authentication option and then click the Ok button to confirm, as shown in the screenshot below.

You will get the Operation Complete message, as shown in the screenshot below.

When the user tries to log in to the Azure portal, it asks to reconfigure the MFA, as shown in the screenshot below.

Now, click the Next button to reconfigure the MFA for additional security.
