Recently, I started working on a new Azure DevOps project where I was required to create multiple sprints in Azure DevOps. In this article, I will walk you through simple steps to create a sprint in Azure DevOps.

How To Create A New Sprint In Azure DevOps
To create a new sprint in Azure DevOps, follow the below quick steps.
1. Log in to Azure Portal.
2. Search for Azure DevOps Organizations and click on the search result Azure DevOps Organizations under the Services node.

3. As a next step, click the My Azure DevOps Organizations link as shown in the screenshot below.

4. Click on the specific project from the lists of available projects as shown below.

5. Mouse hover on the Boards option from left navigation and then select the Sprints option, as shown in the screenshot below.

6. On the Taskboard tab, click the New Sprint option from the Sprint 1 dropdown, as shown in the screenshot below.

Alternatively, click the New Sprint button from the top right.

Now, you can see in the screenshot below that the new sprint has been created successfully.

1. Follow step-1 to step-4 from the above section.
2. Click on the Project settings option from the bottom left navigation.

3. Click the Project configuration under the Boards section and then click the New Child button, as shown in the screenshot below.

4. On the New iteration window, enter the Iteration name, select the start date and end date, choose the location, and click on the Save and Close button as shown below.

Now, you can see below that the new sprint has been created successfully.
