When I was trying to sign up for an Azure account, I got the error “We cannot proceed with sign-up due to an issue with your account. Please contact billing support”.
Solution
To fix this error, you need to follow the below steps
First of all
- Try clearing all the browser history and clear the cache of your browser.
- Try the same steps with the help of another browser.
But it didn’t fix the issue, So I tried following the below steps and successfully fixed the issue.
1. First, Log in to https://account.azure.com/ ( Azure account center )
2. click on the Edit details.
3. Check for all the address fields. You should enter the correct data for all the fields.
4. At the time of signing up for the Azure subscription, you should make sure the billing address for the credit card registration is the same as your bank records.
If you are unable to fix the above issue by following the above steps, you should contact the Microsoft support Help desk for assistance.
